Inspired by 1960s space helmets and the timeless disco icon, the fixture's dazzling reflections result from a remarkable process called vacuum metallization. Vaporizing a thin layer of pure metal onto the internal surface of a polycarbonate globe (via an electrical charge) creates the brilliant mirror finish. The metallic interior focuses the
