"Mélia" E.MOLINO, Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC 2020 White Wine peppery and spicy notesNamed "Melia" after grandmother Amelia, this truly SUPERIOR Barbera d'Alba is one of the highest expressions of the Barbera grape from this area. Grown in a vineyard facing southwest, the bunches are picked when overripe, then the wine is left to age in steamed barriques, which limits the vanillin released from the oak. The outcome is spectacular ample and enveloping nose with hints of black fruits and pleasant notes of still fresh grapes, and fully
