Antique 19th Century Victorian Table Top Fireplace Face Screen Phineas Pendleton The plate is 10" inHere is a beautiful antique Victorian era face fireplace screen. These were placed on table tops to protect ladies faces from the heat of the fireplace. The screen has intricate embroidered flowers in various shades of blue along with leaves, and in the center there appears to be a cluster of wheat. The border is decorated with black and tan cord and tassels. The back of the screen is a solid piece of tan silk. Including the stand, it measures 19. 5"
